Field Kitchen 111 Set to Open

Executive Board members of Walter Rhoades American Legion Post 111 have signed a lease for the building’s kitchen. Yesterday, Commander Dave Wyman and Financial Officer Michael McPheron sat down with the founders of Field Kitchen 111 LLC to sign a three year lease, bringing a new tenant to our facility and bringing back food service to the Post Lounge and Gravity Brewing.

Known as Field Kitchen 111, this small start-up by local entrepreneurs Rusty Mattinson, Nate Hohm, and Kim Fisher, is set to open April 1, 2023. A soft opening, introducing some select dishes, will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. The name, Field Kitchen 111, was chosen to both honor veterans and bring attention to the farm-to-table aspect of their business.

The kitchen will specialize in bar and pub favorites, including sandwiches, hamburgers, and pizzas. Small bite plates, such as chicken wings, fried pickles, and pub-style nachos, will also be served. Most importantly, all dishes will be made from scratch.
