From the Commander
It is an absolute honor to serve as the next Commander of Walter Rhoades American Legion Post 111! I am excited to lead this organization and carry-on the proud traditions established in 1920. In partnership with my Executive Board, we’ll be releasing our 2024-2025 goals at the July general membership meeting. I will also provide a “state of the post” update at that meeting. I look forward to working with all of you over the next year as we proudly serve the veterans and community of Louisville, CO!

We will be participating in the Louisville Labor Day parade, potentially with a float, and will be creating a joint committee (AL, ALA, SAL) to support this effort. If you are interesting in helping, please join us at the next general membership meeting.

Sons of the American Legion Meeting (July 3, 2024): There will be a Sons of the American Legion Meeting at 6:00 PM at the post.
General Membership Meeting (July 9, 2024): There will be a General Membership Meeting at 6:00 PM at the post. The lounge will be closed during this meeting. If you'd like to join the meeting via Zoom, please notify the Executive Board by noon, July 8th.
Auxiliary Unit 111 Meeting (July 13, 2024): There will be an Auxiliary Unit 111 Meeting at 9:30 AM at the post.
Save the Date (July 20, 2024): Red, White, and Blue Bingo! Stay tuned for more information.
Bingo (Every Monday Night): Join us for bingo, every Monday night starting at 6:30 PM. All proceeds support Veterans and Veterans' Programs.
